About this speaker
Windell earned a Doctorate in Education with a focus on Emotional Labor. He also holds a Master of Divinity with Biblical Languages and a Master of Science in Education. With 20 years of pastoral counseling experience, Windell coaches individuals, couples, and families toward a holistic cognitive/emotional awareness that results in behavioral transformation. He also consults with local municipalities training adolescent offenders to manage emotional impulses. Windell is a Faculty member of the Emotional Intelligence Training and Research Institute. He has conducted multiple seminars on emotional literacy for behavioral management and has had significant success working with addicts in helping them develop their capacity for emotional development around self-compassion and empathy.
Windell is certified through IITAP as a Pastoral Sex Addiction Professional and a Pastoral Multiple Addiction Professional. He has also trained through the Thinking Collaborative in Cognitive Coaching, which is a research-based model to enhance cognitive processes that support self-managing, self-monitoring, and self-modifying behavior.
