Be All In: Gaslighting In Recovery
A Talk by Dr. Jake Porter LPC, NCC, CSAT-S, CMAT, CCPS , Marnie Breecker LMFT, CSAT, CCPS and Chris Jones CPC
About this Talk
Sobriety alone is simply not enough to heal a relationship. There is an ethical responsibility for the person who has betrayed to be all in on recovery. If there is still a patter of ongoing incongruence between words and behavior, if the betrayer tells the partner that he/she is all in but not backing that up with consistent actions demonstrating that commitment, then the betrayer must recognize that he/she continues to cause relational trauma. In this conversation with Dr. Jake, Marnie and Chris will share their insights on the subject of integrity abuse for couples healing from betrayal.
